So remember that post where i said i was up to my eyeballs in it? I lied. NOW i’m up to my eyeballs in it.
Since I’ve returned from Cali to NY, i’m having the hardest time catching up! I didn’t realize that i only have 3 weeks (well, now 2 weeks) to get everything done! AAAAAAGGGHHH!! I can’t believe it! I have so many projects and papers to do. T__T Let me list there here for your viewing pleasure:
1. Instructional Television show on Interracial Dating - 15 minutes; still have to get footage and we have to revamp our script because our couples that we interviewed were so...happy and good. They had only good things to say about interracial dating instead of the turmoil that we had expected. We’ll have to lighten that up a bit. Oh yeah, and we have to document everything about it (theory-wise)
2. Instructional design curriculum - Safety in NYC for Immigrant Women at the International Learning Center of New York - We’re doing a whole course on safety, but having to cite theory and instructional strategies/methodologies to back us up.
3. 2 papers analyzing 2 different educational shows - about 5 pages each.
4. Final proposal for an educational media solution to a problem found in the news. Our instructor gave us no page limit. Doh. Without scope, this project could go on forever…
5. 1 Final analysis paper on the Constructivist/Cognitivist views of the CTGV (Vanderbilt group) and Mayer and compare that with a video on the City and Country School (very cool constructivist environment) for kids ages 2-13.
6. Game development - gameshow to enhance learning about water usage. Using Director. Don’t know how to use it. Don’t have it. Lab always full.
So that’s my life right now. This is the reason i don’t post. I need to do so more often though. Anyway, send up a prayer for me during the next 2-3 weeks. I would like to survive it if possible. T__T
