Creature of the Night

I fear that I am actually nocturnal by nature.
No sooner had i been given leave to work at home than I revert to my usual in-school sleeping pattern: stay up til 3 or 4 in the morning, wake up at 10 am. I’m not sure why this is. I think that at heart I’m still very much in California, and my body is trying to agree with my heart. OR I’m actually really nocturnal like bats and such. OR maybe i’m just lazy. Hmmm. I prefer not to think to hard on this.
The recent cause of sleepless nights has been due to this project i’m working on for NetAid. My internship had to do with building curriculum for e-learning modules and then actually buidling them. So i’ve done the content part. Now it’s building time! So for the past 2 weeks, i’ve been pounding away at developing this Flash piece.
That’s when i remembered how much i hated Flash. booooo. It’s been a long long time since I’ve actually built anything in it. Over the past school year, i got really into Macromedia Director--it makes so much sense, thanks to my instructor Brian. But Director and Flash are sooooo different for being programs that do really similar things. D’oh. So i’ve been relearning Flash and all their little upgrades for MX 2004 Professional. Gotta admit, there were some frantic moments, and I’m guaranteeing you that there are many more to come. Got some weird bugs in there that i can’t seem to fix and stuff that I hadn’t counted on are throwing wrenches in the gears.
Anyway, here’s a screenshot of what I’m doing. When I’m done (and if i can get permission from NetAid), i’ll post it so you guys can see what it’s all about.
