I’m really icky coughy snotty sick right now.
It was like magic: after getting back from the airport, the minute i stepped foot back in my apartment, i suddenly felt this scratchiness in my throat. It was the kind of scratchiness that heralds weeks of achey, sneezy, but mostly coughy suffering. I must have been holding this one back for awhile because it just took me by storm! I got it this past Sunday night and by Monday morning, i was already a mess.
That was my first day of work, too. :( They took pity on me and sent me home. I thought I’d be able to go in today, but no. I lost my voice and have major chest congestion or something. Ew. So now I’ve missed my first TWO days of work. I’ve spent the entirety of today in my apartment, and mostly in my bed. I think i’ve forgotten how to walk.
Anyway, if any of you are the praying sort, I would really appreciate some prayers sent my way! Thanks!
that sucks, i hate being sick. take echonesia and vitamin C & E. unless it’s the flu, then you’re boned.
