I have a new roommate! But she’s not so new to me.
Susan just arrived tonight! She’s finally done it and made the move from NYC to LA. Yay! I have another friend here!
For those of you who don’t know who Susan is, she’s my friend that I met in NY at Advent Hope SDA Church. She’s awesome beyond belief and will school you in architecture and volleyball. But more fearsome than her powerful spatial perception is her scathing wit. FEAR THE SUSAN!
Just kidding. She’s very sweet.
And currently she’s very tired. She crashed about an hour ago, which is about 3 am EST. It probably didn’t help that I dragged her to Slim’s company softball game. She went very willingly, but being part of a 3-person audience/cheering squad does tend to tire one out. I mean, it’s NINE innings. Could baseball games BE any longer? (I’m obviously not an avid baseball fan.)
In any case, i can already tell that this is the beginning of new and fun adventures! All New York friends are welcome to stay here when you’re stopping by LA! And if you are missing her dearly and mourning her absence over on the east coast, just know that now have TWO reasons to move out west: 1. Susan, 2. Kathy.

ps - how’d they do on their baseball game? what position does slim play?
